ProSoccerData (PSD) announces with pride the acquisition of the Belgian company SoccerOnline. With a portfolio of more than 300 grassroots and professional clubs, PSD will become the Belgian market leader for player data management software.
“This acquisition was the logical next step for our scale-up company,'' said CEO Kevin Vermeulen. “As the market leader in the grassroots segment, SoccerOnline has shown in recent years that there is a high need for player data centralisation. The experience we have gained within PSD will be used to support these clubs in the further professionalization of their youth academy”.
Clubs currently registered with SoccerOnline will have the choice to further work as-is or to switch to the ProSoccerData platform. In the medium term the intention is to work towards 1 common platform, with the PSD platform as the basic foundation. The product philosophy remains unchanged: Building a professional platform that is also accessible for grassroots clubs.
SoccerOnline clubs who wish to switch to the PSD platform are given the option to automatically migrate their player data and statistics. This way no data will get lost.
ProSoccerData offers a digital solution to increase the quality of player development and talent detection. Originally founded as a spin-off of the famous RSC Anderlecht youth Academy, PSD is today active in 11 countries with renowned clients like the Belgian FA, Ajax FC, J-League (Japan), Guangzhou R&F (China) and Seattle Sounders (USA)
