The Romanian FA recently signed a 3-year partnership with Belgian company ProSoccerData (PSD), a player data management platform. PSD will provide a platform for all national teams from U15 until first team, both for men and women teams.
Through PSD, all player and staff data will be saved and all club members will get access to the platform. Once logged in, information can be consulted like the club calendar, team compositions, video analyses and medical information.
“We are honoured to partner up with the Romanian FA and to contribute to the further professionalization of Romanian football. The first reactions on our workshops in Bucharest were very enthusiastic,” said Kevin Vermeulen, CEO of ProSoccerData.
“Through this new platform we can improve our planning and player tracking at all levels because all information will be centralized. Moreover, selections can also be sent from this system,” said Vlad Munteanu, Operational Manager of the Romanian FA.
National coach Contra agreed: “It is important that we have complete information on all age groups. A database will be very useful in the long term, where it will be possible to analyze and benchmark a player within a certain age category”.
In order for staff members to be able to work even more efficiently with ProSoccerData, a connection will be established with Football Connect, the Romanian player and match database.
